Bar-B-Clean offers a comprehensive 2-day training program. The first half of day one is held at their home office, covering their extensive 100+ page operations manual. This includes guidance on starting, growing, and efficiently managing the business, along with training in marketing strategies, sales techniques, and technology. The second half of day one and all of day two focus on hands-on technical training. Franchisees work with the operations manager to learn grill configurations, part repairs, and the full cleaning process. Participants will observe, take part in, and then be taught how to perform the cleaning process themselves.
Franchisees benefit from monthly business coaching that includes goal setting and performance reviews. Additional support includes managed relationships with parts distributors and grill manufacturers, a proprietary CRM system for managing customer information and scheduling, and access to an operations manager for field-related concerns. Franchisees also participate in a yearly conference to strategize for the upcoming year, along with regular virtual meetings to share insights and best practices.
